Description

Hine is armed with over 260 years of attention to detail, from generations of dedicated craftsmen and women who have kept a keen eye on ensuring the longevity of this independent and family-owned cognac house.

Some of Hine’s vintage Grande Champagne cognacs are aged in Jarnac and some in the UK, where they came to be known as Early Landed. They were shipped after ageing two years in new oak barrels in Jarnac, in contrast to other cognacs which spent their entire ageing period in the Cognac region. Hine remains one of a rare few Cognac houses to continue the Early Landed tradition.

XO EARLY LANDED

As part of its ongoing commitment to distinctiveness, Hine is set to release its inaugural XO Early Landed in 2025, marking a new step in its quest for uniqueness. A bold exception in a world of convention...

That discreet but indelible British touch

After two years of initial ageing in new oak casks in Jarnac, the cognac embarks on a journey to mature in the naturally humid cellars of the UK where it reaches full aromatic maturity.

DOUBLE AGED COGNAC

Inspired by travel and the postal world, the box retraces the journey of the cognac. It opens horizontally and contains a bottle lying down.
