Limited edition to 192 bottles !
Produced in Nonaville, just next to Jurignac, this Cognac bears a striking resemblance to older Petite Champagne batches from the region.
Label designed by Lauriane Dupré. Created in a style inspired by 1960s comic books, her illustration for “à la main” humorously and tenderly depicts a life spent amongst the vineyards and in the distillery, where a touch of whimsy pays tribute to traditional craftsmanship.
Tasting notes :
Nose : this Cognac opens with aromas of ripe mango, orange and peach, followed by notes of melon, honeysuckle and rose, with hints of mint and camphor adding a touch of freshness.
Palate : this eau-de-vie is drier and more structured, with notes of pear skin, fresh walnut and damson, giving way to aromas of peach, cocoa and roasted chestnut. Fine tannins and a slight bitterness balance its richness.
Finish : long, with notes of Turkish delight, cinnamon, white pepper, more mango and full-bodied black tea.
Grape variety : Ugni blanc.
To be savoured patiently as a digestif.
