This Cognac Petite Champagne Vintage 1983 comes from the village of Réaux-Sur-Trèfle in Charente-maritime. This Cognac was distilled in a 20 Hl still and aged in a damp cellar without any additives.

Tasting notes :


Colour : Bright bronze gold.


Nose : An elegant, complex bouquet revealing notes of pear, almond, fresh dried fruit, white flowers and a touch of wax.
Beautiful balance and finesse.

Palate : Magnificent balance between aromatic finesse and natural roundness. Aromas of pear, nutmeg and fresh walnut mingle with a fine, precise finish.

Number of bottles available : 240 bottles.

Ageing : Harvested and distilled in 1983, aged in French oak barrels until bottling in May 2024.
Start of ageing in Réaux-Sur-Trèfle, village in Charente-maritime, in a damp cellar. Aged before in our naturally high-humidity cellars in Gimeux.

Grape variety : 100 % Ugni blanc.


Terroir : Complex clay-limestone soil.

Vintage : Winter was marked by frequent snowfalls. The cold and rain persisted until May, resulting in late flowering (beginning on 20 June). The heat returned in June, heralding and stormy summer, particularly at the end of July when a violent thunderstorm in Cognac. With the heat, veraison began on 18 August and the grape harvest began on 7 October under the sun.
