2 Louis XIII crystal tasting glasses 4 cl Rémy Martin Cognac

Each LOUIS XIII glass is unique and meticulously hand-crafted by 9 Master Crystal Makers who hand down each piece from hand to hand.

This crystal is delicately shaped before being blown to give it its first form. Similar to the skill required to form the medallions on a LOUIS XIII decanter, a slight fragment of crystal is meticulously applied to form the foot. The master crystal maker uses his craft tools to ensure a round, uniform shape that will allow the glass to hold its final position.

Once this has been achieved, the facets of the glass are cut one by one into the crystal, giving it its iconic shape. As with a cut diamond, the light diffuses and reflects, giving life to the multiple facets of LOUIS XIII's mahogany dress.

The result of this singular know-how, LOUIS XIII glasses may differ slightly in length or width. The unique character of each glass is later translated into a myriad of notes when two LOUIS XIII Cognac glasses are toasted, inducing an enchanted symphony of chimes.
