Tasting notes :
Colour : ebony.
Nose : complex, notes of candied fruit (orange, apricot), honey and spices, woody notes, rancio, cigar box.
Palate : balanced, smooth and supple.
Finish :
Cru : Grande Champagne, 1st AOC Cognac.
Terroir : The soil of Grande Champagne is whitish with a crumbly limestone subsoil; the climate is less influenced by the ocean due to its distance from the sea, but still has a strong continental character : the eaux-de-vie from this region are distinguished by their very fine, very long bouquet. Eaux-de-vie made exclusively in this region can claim the Grande Champagne or Grande Fine Champagne appellation.

Ageing : in French Limousin-type oak cask, coarse grain and medium grain.
